Our purchasing process
Our timber purchasing process is thorough and designed to provide landowners with the best options. It starts with the landowner initiating contact with us and providing information about the timber. Our team then verifies ownership, visits the property to cruise the timber, and develops a proposal based on the amount and quality of timber located on the property. Mill prices play a significant role in determining the stumpage rate offered to the landowner. We provide options for Per Unit Timber Sales (payment as we harvest) or Lump Sum Timber Sales (one-time payment upon signing). Agreements typically allow 12 to 18 months for harvesting.
